We custom airbrush and screen print all of our dashes "in house." The concept of the dash is a variation of the overall look and feel of the boat itself. We currently paint over 50 variations for Fountain Powerboats alone. The stock dash is removed (in some cases) and prepared to be painted. In other cases the dashes are painted to customer specs. before they reach the assembly line. Custom cut masks are carefully arranged to maintain the look of the boat's design. The paint is then applied in layers until all the graphics are in place. Next, the lettering for the controls is screen printed on, followed by a clear coat to seal the dash.
